How many years farming?
38
What are you growing?
Seedlings and most vegetables- asparagus, peas, root crops, squash, pumpkins, cukes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, carrots, sweet and regular potatoes, corn, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, onions, garlic, herbs, berries, chickens (eggs), and meat rabbits
What farming practices do you use and why?
We farm organically (not certified). Lots of composted chicken and rabbit manure really improves the tilth of the soil, because it’s good for the soil and good for us.
What inspires you to farm?
It’s just my passion and I like to eat and share good food! At the end of the day, nothing beats putting a meal together from the farm on a year round basis.
What is your favorite vegetable/fruit and why?
Broccoli, corn, potatoes- especially sweet potatoes and peaches. They’re good!
